Selected work

A few projects I am proud of.

These projects gave me the chance to work in computer vision, systems programming, and autonomous robotics.

01

AI License Plate Recognition

A real-time Python pipeline that reads license plates from live security footage and sends mobile alerts.

Integrated YOLOv8 object detection and optical character recognition, reaching greater than 90% plate-reading accuracy and delivering notifications through Pushover.

  • YOLOv8
  • OCR
  • Computer vision

02

Star Wars Breakout

A C-based arcade game with custom graphics, game logic, and collision detection.

Developed graphics, game logic, and collision detection as part of a team project that earned first place among 12 teams in the Ohio State Software Design Showcase.

03

SealBot Airport Robot

An autonomous airport-service robot built from the initial mechanical design through embedded control.

Designed the robot in SolidWorks and programmed its embedded C++ control system. SealBot completed every task in competition obstacle-course trials.

Sales Engineering Intern

Making RFP work faster and more useful.

I designed a retrieval-augmented RFP assistant that helped sales engineers prepare tailored responses and demos more efficiently. I also evaluated leading commercial and open-source language models for enterprise sales scenarios and documented the tradeoffs to support a model adoption decision.

I also designed and implemented an interactive slider module to make customer demonstrations more useful and engaging.

Technical foundation

The tools I have worked with.

Languages
Python, Java, C, C++, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL
AI & data
YOLOv8, RAG pipelines, LangChain, Jupyter, Google Colab
Engineering tools
Git, Linux CLI, gdb, VS Code, Eclipse, SolidWorks

Beyond the code

The band shaped how I work with a team.

At The Ohio State University, I earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering and performed as a baritone in The Ohio State University Marching Band. The band taught me to arrive prepared, understand my role, respond well under pressure, and pay attention to the people working beside me.

I also served as Vice President for Membership of Tau Beta Sigma, supporting the people and organization behind the work.
